On Thursday May 02 Kensingtone Records welcomes the return of Moneka Arabic Jazz, lead by Ahmed Salah Moneka and supported by Waleed Abdulhamid, Fethi Nadjem, Demetrios Petsalakis, Ernie Tollar and Max Senitt.
Since arriving in Canada from Iraq just years ago, Ahmed's contributions as a performing artist in music and theatre have been welcomed and notable. The scene has warmly embraced his Iraqi artistic heritage – its stories and songs - into its own growing cultural narrative.
